Creative Direction & Digital Experience Design for Statewide Maternal Health Initiative

Led the development of a strategic communications system to translate complex maternal health research into clear, actionable narratives for audiences spanning academia, policy, and public health.

Maternal health research is often dense, fragmented, and difficult to operationalize. Key stakeholders—from policymakers to clinicians to families—struggle to quickly access and apply critical insights, limiting the real-world impact of essential findings.

Defined and designed a scalable visual and narrative system that transforms complex information into structured, accessible communication across print and digital touchpoints. Established typographic hierarchy, modular layout frameworks, and content structures to ensure consistency, usability, and long-term adaptability.

Partnered across stakeholders to align on clarity, usability, and strategic goals, positioning design as a critical tool for improving comprehension and engagement.

Resulted in a more cohesive and effective communication ecosystem, expanding the reach and usability of key research insights across diverse audiences. This work reflects a broader practice of leading design as a strategic function—building systems that translate complexity into clarity, and ideas into meaningful impact.
